Browser Permissions, Demystified
Camera access on the web is gated by your browser, which is a feature rather than friction: no page can silently turn your camera on. SparkMatch requests permission only when you actively enter the video experience, and your operating system typically shows an indicator whenever the camera is live. If you ever revoke access, the browser's site-settings panel restores it in two clicks.
What Stays Off Camera
The quiet privacy risks are visual. Mail with your address on the table, a work badge on a lanyard, a street view through the window — each one leaks more than an hour of talking would.
